About the Club Our aim is to cater for anybody who has a love of mountain activities, whatever their speciality, and try to provide them with the opportunities to participate with other like-minded people. We have a varied program of activities, including climbing meets on Tuesdays, climbing and walking meets most Weekends and annual trips abroad.	Getting to know us We meet in the Phoenix on Buxton Rd (A6) on Thursday evenings from about 9.30pm. A new members night is held on the first Thursday of every month where you will have the best chance of meeting the most members.	Membership Club membership is composed of Climbers, Walkers, Mountaineers and Skiers, with some Mountain Bikers, Fell Runners, Cavers and Canoeists. We have a good mixture of members from all walks of life who are keen to help any less experienced member to progress in whatever activity they wish to follow. (Please Read our Safety Policy) The annual subscription is currently £15.00. Minimum age accepted is 18. For further details see here.
