We are a mountaineering club based in Stockport, Cheshire, with a membership drawn mainly from around the Manchester and Cheshire area. We are a very friendly, active club with a vibrant membership catering for the outdoor enthusiast of all abilities. We welcome climbers, walkers, scramblers, mountaineers and mountain bikers of any standard who have a love of the great outdoors. We have no membership requirements and both experienced and novice adults are welcome whatever their ability or experience. Along with regular monthly weekend trips we also have a healthy social side.
We meet for a drink and a natter on the first and third Thursday of each month at the Phoenix pub in Hazel Grove (on the A6 opposite Sainsbury’s, postcode SK7 4AH), so come along and have a chat from about 9.00pm. Alternatively, get in touch with me via the link on the 'Contact Us' page.
