Weekend Meets

 

Here is a brief list of the weekend meets for 2012. We tend to stay in climbers' huts (lots of character), backpacker hostels (more posh) or camp.

Club members can find more details in the Calendar under the 'Members Area'.

 

 

The hut in Newlands Valley (owned by Carlisle Mountaineering Club). A basic hut with a fantastic pot belly stove which provides fun for pyromaniacs and warmth for the rest of us.

 

January 13-15 Llanberis, North Wales
February 10-12 Loch Lomond, Scotland
March 2-4 Duddon Valley, Lake District
April 5-9 (Easter) Inchree, Fort William, Scotland
May 4-7 Borrowdale, Lake District

June 1-5 (extra bank holiday)
June 29 - July 1

Rhinogs, North Wales
July 27-29 Wasdale, Lake District
August 24-27 Brecon Beacons or Pembroke or Cornwall
September 21-23 Dinas Mawddwg, North Wales
October 19-21 Somewhere really exciting
November 16-18 Yorkshire
December 7-9 Christmas Do Chamois Hut, North Wales

Trips are also planned this year to Kalymnos (Greek island), Chamonix and Italian Dolomites.
